MOUNTAINS IN POLAND
The mountains in Poland can be divided into three chains, the most important and youngest of which are the Carpathians, and the oldest and lowest are the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, with the Sudetes in between. Thanks to their beauty, the possibility of contact with nature and the feeling of the wind in your hair, the mountains are one of the most popular holiday destinations for Poles. And we admit without beating that we can’t live without mountains and we still don’t have enough of them. Supporters of mountain hiking in Poland can choose and pick among various ranges, choosing the level of difficulty. You can also take part in the implementation of various projects, such as The Crown of Polish Mountains, consisting in visiting each range and climbing its highest peak. Our short look at the mountains in Poland will be a look through the prism of geography. We will move from the western borders of our country to its eastern part.
